Mud Creek Marsh is one of the newest additions to New York State's DEC Purple Martin sites. Mud Creek is located on the Tonawanda State Wildlife Management Area at the corner of Griswold Street and Route 77 at the eastern edge of Niagara County. A parking lot is available off Route 77 at approximately 7027 Lewiston Road. A wooden T-14 style martin house was installed in spring 2016. All the cavities have tunnel entrances. Four plastic gourds, also equipped with tunnel entrances, hang from the house.
