This colony on Lewiston Road in Genesee County was established in the late 1990’s. Records were not kept until 2010 when the original house was removed and new house was put in place through the efforts of Carl Zenger and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. One T-14 was chosen for this open area, located next to a small parking lot overlooking Cinnamon Marsh on the Tonawanda Wildlife Management Area. In 2010 the new T-14 house fledged 10 martins, in 2011, 34 martins and in 2012, 53 martins, for a total of 97 Purple Martins in the last three years.

NOTES
All NYS Purple Martin Landlords may e-mail photos or short video clips of their colony directly to our web master. They will be considered for inclusion on the colony's site profile and history page.
